Privacy policy

Updated:

This policy describes data processing on the OptiCord website, in the Telegram bot @optiCordBot and in its Mini App. The owner and person responsible for data processing is Illia Zernyshkin. Privacy and support contact: team@linkoid.net.

The website and your browser

Landing page examples use demonstration data. The website does not request your location or transmit coordinates from these examples. Your language choice and analytics opt-out are stored locally in your browser. We do not use cookies or visitor identifiers for analytics. Fonts are served from our own server.

To deliver pages, the server receives your IP address and technical HTTP request information. Standard server logs may contain the address, time, requested URL and browser type for operation and troubleshooting. Nginx logs rotate daily and retain 14 previous copies; the precise deletion time depends on rotation. These logs are separate from the statistics below.

Statistics, errors and performance

Our server collects landing page view counts, Telegram button clicks, technical error categories and performance measurements: largest contentful paint (LCP), cumulative layout shift (CLS) and time to first byte (TTFB). Data is immediately combined by UTC date, language and event type. Only counts, sums, minimums and maximums are retained.

These statistics do not record IP addresses, full URLs, link parameters, error messages, coordinates, email addresses or Telegram IDs. Individual event histories and visitor profiles are not retained. We keep aggregates for the current day and the preceding 29 days and automatically remove older ones. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable collection. You can also opt out here:

The Telegram bot and Mini App

When you use the service, we process your Telegram ID, language, interaction timestamps, selected start and destination points, calculated routes and voluntary wait-time reports. A place selected by name may include its name and place identifier. This enables route calculation, route history and repetition, reporting and service operation.

Trip tracking is a separate feature enabled at your choice. It keeps the latest coordinate and the coordinate of the last recalculation, rather than a complete GPS track. Each update replaces the previous point. Stopping, completing or expiring tracking clears these coordinates from the current database.

Other services

Telegram provides the bot and Mini App platform and processes data under its own policy. Place search and road calculation require requests to Google or OpenRouteService with a place name or route coordinates. Nakordoni supplies queue estimates and does not receive your coordinates from OptiCord. Opening Google Maps or Telegram takes you to that external service. Data also passes through hosting infrastructure to operate the service.

Service data retention

DataCurrent retention
Route history and related estimates30 days
Voluntary crossing-time reports730 days
Two active trip coordinatesUntil tracking is stopped, completed or expires
Completed trips and rerouting decisions7 days
Telegram profileUntil deletion on request or discontinuation of the profile's service

A background job removes expired route history and reports hourly; periods are applied on the next successful cleanup. A trip waiting for location sharing expires after 2 hours, and active tracking without new coordinates expires after 1 hour. Clearing the current database is not a promise of immediate deletion from all possible infrastructure backups.

Your choices and requests

You may view the website without starting the bot, disable statistics, and choose not to enable tracking or stop it. For information about your data, correction, profile deletion, restriction of processing or other requests, email team@linkoid.net. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the Telegram profile. The bot currently has no dedicated deletion command.

If you email us, we receive your address and message to respond. Your rights and the procedure depend on applicable data protection rules; you may contact a competent data protection authority. We update this page when processing changes and display the revision date.
